Braces Options
Dr. Meade uses different techniques for orthodontic treatment depending on each patient’s unique needs and desires. The most common form of orthodontic treatment chosen at our Ypsilanti, MI orthodontic office is metal braces. These use brackets, bands, and wires to move the teeth into an ideal position. Dr. Meade also offers clear braces, which are similar in function to metal braces but are a more aesthetic option. For a completely clear orthodontic experience, we provide Reveal® clear aligners.
Treatment Length
The length of orthodontic treatment varies from patient to patient, but on average, treatment can take anywhere from two to three years with proper cooperation from the patient. Once in treatment, patients will need to visit Dr. Meade for adjustments and progress checks every six to ten weeks.
