Complimentary Exam
Your first visit to our office will be an initial examination. This appointment includes a comprehensive examination and a panoramic x-ray (if needed). At this appointment, your treatment will be discussed in detail including any options for treatment and the pros and cons of each option.
Records and Consultation
Following this appointment, if treatment is indicated, diagnostic records are taken. Complete diagnostic records include models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and X-rays. These additional records are used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
Regular Appointments
The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expander, etc.) usually takes 1 to 2 hours. After the appliances are on, appointment intervals can generally be extended for your convenience to as infrequently as every 6-10 weeks! These long appointment intervals are made possible because Dr. Meade implements the latest technologies and techniques that allow longer intervals between visits.
Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.
